Here we have a Beautiful Blue, White, Brick Red to Orange banded Hills Fairburn Agate. It has a nicely fortified face on the front with a Lovely Red Centered Geode pocket near the center. The Geode pocket is lined with clear Druzy Quartz Flecked with as yet unidentified Black Crystals. The Back side shows an earth tone banded edge going to Blue/grey & it’s banded right to the center. Faces peek out in a few spots. It shows a small amount of limestone matrix on the edges. We have tumbled this agate to give it a smooth feel and a mild shine. This is a lovely palm sized specimen. Hills Fairburn Agates are a fortification agate found in South Dakota. Often found with unique “holly-leaf” banding in one of a kind patterns and a variety of colors.
