South Dakota’s State Gemstone is the FAIRBURN AGATE. This lovely Raw Hills Fairburn Agate Specimen is the Left 1/2 of a fist sized jasper nodual. One edge still has a little crusty limestone matrix attached as shown in the photos. Origin is the southern Black Hills of South Dakota. Colors are Brick/Carnelian Red to Fleshy/Peachy tones with a White banded center. A full face shows on the front with a small face showing on the back side. Specimen is shown DRY.
