“Moon Agate” Antelope Spring

Description

This is a prize by pretty much any agate collectors standard at a whopping 5+ pounds. It has a polished face on one end, showing the fantastic fortification agate surrounding a crystallized quartz center. There is also a nice raw face one one side as shown in the photos. This beauty is solid as far as we can tell. Which is a little different since most of the agates from this find were pocketed in the center. As said in the name this agate is from the Moon area near Antelope Spring in Pennington Co, South Dakota. This beauty has been in our personal collection for over 20 years. But at some point one must pare down the collection that time has now come for us. So now the advantage is to the Agate collectors around the world as this beauty is being made available once again.
