Moon Agate with White Quartz Pocket

Here we have a nice Large Hills Fairburn Agate. With beautiful red/orange & white bands. Those are the most typical colors to come from this location. As was the norm with agates from this location this one shows a White Quartz pocket in the center. There is a bit of limestone matrix still attached in spots. This beauty was collected by a dear friend back in the late 80’s or early 1990’s after which it spent a few years in his collection followed by many years in our own collection. The time has now come for us to start paring down our own collection. But that’s to your benefit, as now this big beautiful Moon Agate is being made available to the world again.
